Mercury has crafted some of the most popular news and entertainment applications for iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone. Mercury apps for clients such as USA Today, TED Talks, The New York Times, and CNN have been downloaded and used by millions and parodied on The Daily Show and Futurama. Rusty’s work has garnered awards and recognition from Communication Arts, the Webbys, and Ad Age while receiving heavy promotion by each of the major mobile platforms. He has also contributed interviews for Josh Clark’s popular book Tapworthy about designing great iPhone apps, as well as Suzanne Ginsburg’s book Designing the iPhone User Experience.
