As developers, sometimes it’s difficult to get up from the keyboard and exercise. We’ll talk about why exercise is important, what you can do daily to greatly improve your health, and take a look at some examples of helpful apps. We’ll even “walk" through the CoreMotion framework to create our own pedometer app as well as visit many other facets of CoreMotion.
Unit testing is a topic that many love, but many either don’t have the time to test or don’t want to try because it is extremely difficult to start, know what to test, or test the UI in an iOS application. In this presentation, we’ll take a step back to understand what testing is, how and why it is useful especially if you’re taking over a legacy code base, and walk through creating unit tests and UI tests in an app. We will also use Xcode’s test coverage tool to analyze how well-tested your app is, and how to identify untested code.
